Massey Ferguson Runners Club

The brief

The dated original site wasn’t mobile responsive and didn’t have functionality to enable some of the things the committee wished to do, such as selling running clothing to members via the site.

How First Image helped

We designed and built the new site on a fresh platform and added a raft of new functions. This includes an e-commerce section for the Clothing Shop. Members can browse the range of club-branded merchandise and add items to their online shopping cart.

The site also includes a blog facility allowing designated editors to add race reports. As well as keeping members informed, this ensures the site is updated regularly with fresh content for search engine visibility.

There are also quick buttons for the social media channels on which the club is active.

The result

“Our members are using the site a lot more since First Image transformed it”, says club chairman Dave Goodwin.

“We all have more reason to visit because it is frequently updated. The fresh, modern design has reinforced our brand image and helped build our credibility. We know it has attracted people because since this version of the site went live, we have more than doubled our membership”.
