Radford Primary School Website Design
We had already rebranded (see this post) Radford Primary Academy – now it was time to create a new website for them.
Radford Primary issues a weekly newsletter, so there is plenty of reason for parents to be visiting the website on a regular basis. For this reason it is important that key staff at the school are able to update the site themselves.
It was also imperative that parents be able to use the site easily, regardless of whether they are using a mobile phone, tablet or laptop.
The school also has to make a wide variety of information available regarding policies and rules, plus links to job vacancies.
How First Image helped
We constructed a fully responsive site featuring the distinctive logo, branding and colour pallette we had already created for the school. The menu bar makes it very easy for parents and students to navigate the site.
The newsletter, which is created and saved as a PDF, is available to view at a click.
With the headteacher’s welcome on the homepage, the site serves as both a marketing tool for prospective families and a source of ongoing information for those whose children are already at the school.
“The site looks fantastic and is very easy to use”, says head Lucie Buran. “Parents can get up to date information on what’s been happening in school. At the same time, we can communicate information regarding holiday dates, school trips and the sort of reminders we have to send out from time to time about things like uniform policy.
“We are very pleased with the work First Image have done and the fact that they are always there to provide ongoing support if we need it”.
Are you making full use of your school’s website?
Could it do with restructuring and optimising for mobiles and tablets? We can help.
Radford Primary school wanted their current website updating to reflect their new association with the Sidney Stringer Trust and them becoming an academy. So after updating their Identity we designed a shiny new responsive website for them which works superbly whether you're viewing it on a mobile phone or desktop computer.
