Visual Identity & Website Design
Sidney Stringer Academy Trust
After Sidney Stringer Academy was awarded “Outstanding” status, the principal and governors decided that their website wasn’t reflecting the excellence of the school. They wanted a new site that not only looked great but one which made a large amount of information easily accessible to parents and students.
How First Image helped
We built a new architecture for the site with a content management system. This enables management and staff to update the site themselves. The design is simple and clean, with a colour palette matching the academy’s own branding. Now, when you arrive on the homepage there is a clear, straightforward menu bar that makes it very easy to find the information you are looking for. The latest news is also prominent, helping convey the fact that the academy is a vibrant community with things happening all the time. After the initial website build First Image also helped with website, visual identity and various sign projects for two primary schools, the Sidney Stringer Trust, and two teaching organisations, Coventry Scitt and Swan Alliance.
“We are really pleased with the quality of the website and the way that First Image were willing to be flexible and work with us to ensure that we had a site that met our needs”, says Academy Principal Wendy Homes.
“Since then they have produced further websites for other academies in our trust. We like the way that they are willing to change the layout as our needs change. So many companies are not willing to do this on a regular basis.”
