When Sidney Stringer Primary School was established as a brand-new feeder school to Sidney Stringer Academy, it needed a fresh identity that felt both welcoming and aligned with the established brand. This project covers the brand identity, prospectus, and primary school website design delivered for the new school.
Having already redesigned the Academy’s main website, I was asked to create a visually engaging identity for the new primary school, one that would appeal to younger audiences while still maintaining a clear link to the parent school. The final logo and supporting visuals were built around the core characteristics of the Academy’s identity, carefully adapted to feel more playful, vibrant, and age-appropriate. The result is a distinctive brand that feels part of the Sidney Stringer family while standing confidently on its own.
Once the identity was finished, we set about creating the new school website, working closely with the headteacher to ensure the vision of the school was captured and the right foundations were in place from day one. Ease-of-use and compliance with the latest Ofsted guidelines were the main areas of focus throughout this primary school website design project, so we made it straightforward for teachers to update their own class pages with the latest news, and made sure all legally required information stayed clear and visible to parents.
A new primary school launched with a brand that visually connects it to its academy, a prospectus that matches, and a website the school can run day-to-day without outside help. You can see more about how we approach school website design for schools like this one.
