I’ll ask the right questions which will allow me to uncover the truth about why you need a website, who it’s for and exactly what it is you’re trying to achieve. Armed with this and a clear idea of what is required I’ll move on to the sitemap phase.
The Sitemap
Once I have all the information I need, I’ll build a visual sitemap so that we both can get on the same page really quickly about what it is we’re trying to communicate and the best way of structuring all the information that will be on your website.
The Prototype
Now instead of building a mock-up for you so you can get a feel of the design first as most other companies do, I’ll build you a no-frills interactive mock-up in a browser so you can see how everything fits together from a functional point of view.
The Web Design
OK so this is the bit where I get my colouring pencils out and start to get the interactive prototype looking polished and beautifully designed to attract your visitors. Once you’ve approved the home page and another internal page, and I have all the content, I’ll finish the rest of the site design.
The Delivery
Finally, I get to the testing phase and make sure all the functionality works the way it’s supposed to and that your site is ready for launching to the big wide world.
The Support
Once your website is live I will hand over the controls to you and show you how you can update your site yourself, but don’t worry, if you would like ongoing support and maintenance of your new site going forward I can look after you with one of my website care plans, which can cover you for all your content changes, updates and security.
