Collecting good reviews of your business from happy customers not only tells others how good you are and what they’re likely to expect when they work with you, but also helps propel your website up the search engine rankings so that you will be easier to find when someone is looking for your services or products.
Create a page where you can collect reviews
This is why it’s important to have an easy place and system where your happy customers can leave a glowing review of your business. Having a page on your website where customers can leave a review is a great idea and relatively simple to set up.
Make your page easy to share
Once you have created your page, the important thing to do is make it easy to share. Create a page such as www.yourdomain.com/leave-a-review This can then be shared in thank you emails, email signatures, invoices etc or printed onto business cards that can be handed over or left inside product packaging after your customers have purchased.
What goes on your review page?
It’s important to plan what goes on your page. Keeping the page nice and simple is the key, as you only want your customer to do one thing: leave a review. You can either add a form to the page which collects the reviews directly or point people to popular review sites that collect reviews on your behalf and publish them on their platforms, such as Google, Facebook, Trustpilot, Trip Advisor etc. These external review platforms are very important as these are indexed by Google and help with your search engine rankings.
I’ve left an example of the review page we use in our business which helps us collect great reviews and offers good feedback for our creative services, if you would like a review system setting up for your business then please get in touch.
