School websites and branding I've delivered

For more than two decades I’ve helped primary schools, academies and trusts create clear, accessible and modern websites that keep parents, staff and the wider community informed. Each project reflects the school’s values, is planned around DfE requirements and strengthens the school’s identity.

Every school website below is fast, secure, mobile-friendly and easy for staff to update.

Sidney Stringer Primary Academy logo and branding

SIDNEY PRIMARY ACADEMY

BRAND IDENTITY / SCHOOL WEBSITE DESIGN / PRINT

This new primary school needed a new identity which could align it to its parent school and MAT (Sidney Stringer Academy), a new school website and school prospectus were among the other items we produced.

RADFORD PRIMARY ACADEMY

BRAND IDENTITY / SCHOOL WEBSITE DESIGN

A new school identity and school website were built for Radford Primary Academy part of the Sidney Stringer Multi Academy Trust. The website was later moved over to the WordPress platform so school staff can easily update it themselves.

Ernesford Grange Community Academy prospectus design

ERNESFORD GRANGE COMMUNITY ACADEMY

PROSPECTUS / DESIGN & PRINT

Having worked with most of the other schools in the MAT Ernesford asked us to design their new prospectus which would engage with prospective parents on open day.

SIDNEY STRINGER MAT

WEBSITE BRAND IDENTITY / SCHOOL WEBSITE DESIGN

This newly formed MAT needed a website which would become a portal site for other school websites in the trust and display important information about the trust and its vacancies across it.

School website and brand Identity

COVENTRY SCITT

BRAND IDENTITY / PROSPECTUS / WALL DISPLAYS

The Coventry SCITT needed a brand identity that reflected its school-led training focus and strong local roots. Inspired by the Whittle Arches, the logo connects the organisation to Coventry while suggesting structure and progress. We then applied the new identity across key materials, including a prospectus, banners, and interior signage for their training spaces.

What's included

Everything a school website needs.

01

DfE information pages

Statutory information, policies, curriculum and Ofsted reports, organised so parents and inspectors can find them in a couple of clicks.

02

Easy updates for staff

Built on WordPress, so office staff and teachers can add news, letters, term dates and photo galleries without any technical knowledge.

03

Designed for parents' phones

Most parents check the school website on their phone, so every page loads quickly and reads clearly on a small screen.

04

Accessible by design

Clear type, strong colour contrast and a sensible page structure help every family use the site comfortably.

05

A brand that fits your school

A website that reflects your school's values, with a matching logo, prospectus, banners and signage if you need them.

06

Trust portal websites

For multi academy trusts, a central website that links every school, shares trust news and lists vacancies across the trust.

School website questions.

Something not covered? Ask me directly.

Will our website meet DfE requirements?

I plan every school website around the information the DfE says schools must publish online, and check your existing content against it at the start. Your school stays responsible for keeping that information current, and the site makes it quick to do.

Can our staff update the website themselves?

Yes. School sites are built on WordPress and I show your staff how to add news, letters, events and photos. Radford Primary Academy's website was moved to WordPress for exactly this reason.

Do you design websites for multi academy trusts?

Yes. I designed the Sidney Stringer Multi Academy Trust website, which acts as a portal to the schools in the trust and lists vacancies across it.

Can you help with our school branding and prospectus too?

Yes. Alongside websites I design school logos, prospectuses, banners and signage, as I have for Sidney Stringer Primary Academy, Ernesford Grange Community Academy and Coventry SCITT.

Do you work with schools outside Coventry?

Yes. Most of my school work so far has been in Coventry, but school websites can be planned and managed remotely, so I can work with schools anywhere in the UK.

Do you offer support after the website goes live?

Yes. My website care plans keep WordPress updated, backed up and secure, and include time each month for content changes.

Is your school website
working for you?

Book a free consultation and I'll look at your current website, what parents and inspectors need from it, and how it could work harder for your school.
